CDM Advisor Service

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) were amended on 6th April 2015 and this has had a major effect on construction managers and designers. 

Alban Safety offer a range of services to assist with the management of these Regulations at all levels. The level of assistance required will depend entirely on the complexity of the project. This can be loosely defined as follows:

  • Ensuring that the client is fully aware of their duties and obligations under CDM.
  • Ensuring that communication between the various parties is clear and consistent, i.e., by attending regular design and site progress meetings.
  • Ensuring that Health & Safety issues have been fully and properly considered by all parties.
  • Notifying the Health & Safety Executive at appropriate times.
  • Compiling the Health and Safety File at the end of the project.
