Qualitative Face Fit Testing Train The Fitter Course
Thousands die each year as a result of exposure at some point in their working lives to hazardous substances such as different forms of hazardous dust.
A high percentage of this annual loss could be averted by the correct selection and use of Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE). Individual Face Fit Testing is now a required part of that process.
As people come in all sorts of shapes and sizes it is unlikely that one particular type, or size of RPE face piece, will fit everyone. Fit testing will help ensure that the equipment selected is suitable for the wearer.
